THE WORKSHOP & JMUSIQUE EXPERTISE

1 - What sets JMUSIQUE guitars apart?

Unlike many online retailers, we don’t just 'move boxes.' Every instrument, whether new, used, B-Stock, or floor model, is unpacked, thoroughly inspected, and professionally set up by our technician before being listed. You receive an instrument that is truly ready to play right out of the box.

2 - What does the JMUSIQUE pre-shipping quality control include?

Our Checklist Includes: * Cosmetics: A meticulous inspection of the finish and lacquer (full transparency on any potential flaws via real photos). * Neck & Frets: Truss-rod adjustment and fret leveling verification. * Playability: Action height adjustment (string height) and intonation setup (tuning accuracy). * Electronics: Thorough testing of pickups, potentiometers (pots), and selectors.

3 - Does JMUSIQUE provide in-house lutherie services?

Yes, our workshop in Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois offers a wide range of services: * Full Setup: Neck adjustment, action, and intonation. * Restringing & Fretboard Cleaning: Deep cleaning and conditioning (hydration for open-pore woods). * Pickup Replacement & Rewiring: Electronic repairs and upgrades. * Parts Replacement: Tuners, nuts, and bridges. * In-store Diagnostics & Free Quotes.

As soon as your instrument leaves our shop, you will receive an email with a tracking link to follow its journey in real time right to your doorstep.

3 - Can I buy online and pick up my instrument in-store?

Absolutely! Just select 'In-store pickup' during checkout. This allows you to reserve your instrument and come try it out at your leisure with our expert advice before taking it home.

USED INSTRUMENTS, TRADE-INS & SPECIAL OFFERS

1 - Do you sell second-hand gear at JMUSIQUE?

Yes, we have a dedicated section for pre-owned guitars and basses. Every model is rigorously inspected, cleaned, and set up. We systematically specify the instrument's condition with actual photos to ensure full transparency and no surprises.

Do you offer consignment or trade-ins at JMUSIQUE?

We do not offer consignment, but we do provide advantageous trade-in and buyout solutions. Contact us or stop by the shop with your instrument so we can appraise it and discuss the best options for you.

3 - What do 'B-Stock' and 'Demo Model' mean?

*B-Stock: A brand-new instrument with a very minor cosmetic flaw, but perfectly functional and fully set up. We do not sell guitars with functional defects regarding the neck, fretwork, or electronics. *Demo Model: An instrument used for in-store display or demonstrations. These models often feature significant discounts, even though they are essentially brand-new.
